Jeff, let me know what you think of the Sony SLR when you get get it.
I didn't even know that they made one until I saw it in the Circuit City add over the weekend. The combo pack seemed like a good price with both lenses and I have always been a fan of Sony digital cameras.

I've had this: http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/...uctId=11038608

since it came out in '04
I have so much HD footage it's insane. I love the quality and optics.
I should have stock in Sony because I have so much of their stuff.

LOL, I'm currently debating the same subject myself. Do I get a 50mm f/2 portrait lense + a TTL flash or bin my whole system and get this:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...R_Digital.html
along with 45-200mm tele lense to go with it?

It better, (it does) because I have a bunch of them between my sons and my PSPs. And my son's Sony camera.

After Sony, Panasonic.

Me thinks there's going to be a bunch of cool HHR pictures showing up soon!

Maybe this board will need a dial-up unfriendly section for the high res stuff. We'll take pictures of the tuners.

Not the kit lenses, they make you pay thru the nose to get that name on your lenses.
