I detailed it and my Harley last night and just got back from a 200 mile ride on the Harley. Mid 70's today.

I changed my oil in the SS this morning. I had been waiting for a warmer day to do that, and with the rain we were having it was a good day to spend some quality time under the hood with her!

I switched over to the Valvoline full synthetic as it was on sale and boasted of 4x more lubrication qualities than Mobil 1. Not sure if I believe that, but I'm pretty sure it is just as good. I was disappointed when I popped open the Fram filter box an saw "Made in China" though... The last one I bought I checked it out first and it said "Made in Bolivia" and it appeared to be better quality... Definitely had more surface area with more pleats. I think I'll steer away from Fram all together in the future...

Yeah, I've never cared for Fram. In my other cars I've always used AC Delco, but looking at Auto Zone, I didn't see any AC ones for the HHR.... Do they even make any? I may have to switch to another brand, but I'd have no clue which one.

I de-baged mine. I then installed a 3rd. brake light HHR decal. Also Halfpanel sent me 3 other HHR decal's and I also put them on. One each on the lower front of the front doors and I on lower right bottom of lift gate. love the look of those 3.

I also ordered a set of clear LED tail lights.

We had 12" of snow on Sunday the 1st but our roads are snow free now because of 70 degree weather the last 2 days. Now we need a rain shower to clean the salt off. Car was waxed and put away a few days before the snow came so I watched it one more day staying nice and clean in the garage. It's really not earning its keep.

Drove it with the windows down and the sunroof open for the first time. I got it in November, so our 74 degree weather today was a perfect opportunity.
