Thank you deb! I was beginning to think I was the only one who likes Walmart . In my little town there is a Walmart Supercenter and one other grocery store, and that's it. Walmart wins in both price and selection. Also Walmart built a frozen food distribution center, adding 300+ jobs to a town that desperately needed it after the DuPont plant closed. Our town owes a debt of gratitude to Walmart.

Suck-Mart.......Being a member of an "Union" brotherhood, I try (but I'll admit, sometimes I have to no other choice) to avoid the place at all costs. This is due to thier policies and actions that have been taken against employees that want to "organize" and improve the working conditions, wages, and benefits there. They (Wal-Mart) being the nations largest retailer could certainly afford to pay their employees a Union wage with benefits instead of lining their already inflated corporate salaries.....just my opinion....
Regards.....

I actually came across an old post of mine on the forum, and I called it Wally World. And I try to apply the same rule as Rude. As a retired union worker I sympathize with the Wal Mart employees who are always getting the &*#$ end of the stick from management.

I'm not trying to start a debate. This is more rhetorical....

But, I've always wondered why...almost everyone complains about the non-union Wal-Mart and the way they treat their employees. Wonder why Wal-Mart has a standing list of filled applications? And the unions are unsuccessful in organizing them. And, I do mean this honestly, because I see no problems with the stores I have visited here in AZ. It is quite puzzling.

This is rhetorical...but if you wish to give me an answer, do it by PM. This is someone else's thread.

But, please be coherent and intelligent......don't give me blog information

Ghetto-mart. The Walmart superstore by me is very ghetto and almost everything they sell except for some things like toys and electronics and incredibly generic and cheaply made. The Walmart by me is the only place where I can go at two in the morning and see a lady with nine kids with 2 carts of groceries paying in food stamps. They have a cool thug midget that works there as a cashier though. The guy is so thugged out but he's only like two feet tall.

Since its a parking lot where most of us hang-out on the weekends we just call it "the wall" as in... "wanna cruise by the wall and see whos out tonight??"

Vandalism can and will happen in any parking lot. Wal Marts here at least have a security guard that patrols the lots. I know of no other stores locally that do that.

To call you must first pick up the phone and dial the number, that is what he means.
He was giving you part of a phone number with smiles.
Correct, the question was:
What do you call Wal-Mart
Not how.......
