i miss it

got tired of the government, EPA and FAA so i got out
that is me flying doing one of the last fields ever defoliating cotton.

i believe thats a thrush, t6 had retracts didnt it?

it is a Weatherly 620 that had a 450 hp 9 cylinder radial engine on it.
it was and still is one of the best around for the load it would haul with a 450hp.
i would carry 315 gallons all day long and carry it well.
turboprops are better but cost a ton more.

315 gallons = to around 2300 lbs plus fuel (54Gal), plus oil (5 gal) and me made it one great airplane. i used to fly a 600 hp ag cat that would barely haul 300 gallons.

thrushs were bigger airplanes, no gull wing and yes the T6 had retract gear. i have flown both of those as well.

the weatherly has more of a cosair style wing.
