I mentioned it in another thread, but this seems to be the more appropriate one.. I just got a 8-9mo? Rottweiler pup on Sunday night... She has been a very good dog so far; she's calm, obedient (for the most part ), and she's already kind of protective it seems like. She follows me from room to room in my house, and if I leave for 5 seconds and come back in the house, she acts like I've been gone for days... Apparently that is a Rottie's nature, and it lets me know that I'm obviously doing something right

I said I'd get pics last night, but I forgot.. So I will try harder to remember tonight, but I've got to host another BBQ get-together thing with the family, so it may slip my mind... I hope not though, she's a beautiful dog...

And this is Lucky, a Belgian D'Uccle who is the reason for my screen name.
She competes in Chicken Chariot Racing & is a 2 time champion (2003-2004) & placed 2nd overall this year. Not bad for a 7 year old chicken.


And yes they are pets. They all reside in dog crates in my hallway. They all also compete in the Exotic Poultry Shows up here in Canada.

ok so rather then trying to post pics here, ill post a link to my photobucket, we have 2 boxers girls. coffee we have had for almost 5 years, she is mahogony with a black mask and white markings and natural ears, and we have sadie who is a light fawn, she is a little pony keg with croped ears (done by some evil b###ard at home with scissors) we dont know how old she is as she was our rescue dog from the houston humane society.

My wife and I have 2 dogs ( a whippet and a scroungy looking Chiuaua that is supposed to be a pure bread short hair, but is lond haired and DUMB) we also have 2 cats ( both manx, one is a tuff, cool guy who loves everbody and the other is a girl who is a freak and scared of everything) we have 2 birds ( a Indian ringneck, and a ****ateil) and a ball python, a sulcata tortoise( hes a baby now but will grow to be HUGE about 3' diameter or so) and a bunch of fish. I recebtly sold my Red Tail Boa who was just over 6' and we had another cat (demona) and an iguana (Dino) who just loved each other, check it out

no they are doing anything bad (I hope). They both died under a year ago and are hopefully in animal heaven making some very strange looking offspring
Even though we have none at this time we have owned 4 pits (staffies) and love the breed very much. We live in an aprtment right now so we have to keep the dogs small and every one is scared of pits so we can't have any here.

ahhh the third boxer is their best friend, sugar ray. we rescued him for a friend, believe it or not when we picked him up you could count his vertabrae and he still weighed 73 pounds...he is a big boy! elwood was supposed to be my boy. he was a gift froma friend and was supposed to be a registered pure bred, i thought he was maybe a reverse brindle, it turned out he was at least part black lab, part boxer and ALL MEAN. at 4 months old he would grab coffee's ears and tear them open. coffee started getting way to stressed, so i had to let my boy go and we gave him up for adoption. in the end it worked out, cause a year or so later is when we rescued sadie from the houston humane society, and she has been an awesome dog!
ill be sure and let them know ya think they are cute... they seem to like the attention...lol

 

I have 2 cats, a Black 1 named Fuzzy, and an Orange tabby named Topaz....I dont know if this qualifies as a pet, but I'll include it anyway to make Wheelie happy, Wheelie has a stuffed toy raccoon that he uses to sleep with at night named Sammy.....hmmmm...well, maybe it would not qualify as a pet..more as a toy...but it's an ANIMAL!
