Cheers for the heads up on that 3M white vinyl, Sleeper. I'll look into it for sure. Yeah, I love my panel. Such a cool car. Only wish it was an SS. Not complaining though. Such a cool car. You know what would be super expensive now, would be the ones that Coca Cola had. Anything with that branding fetches big bucks...
Sean- I have never wanted an SS, I think they are way cool, but I got what I wanted, 1 of only 266, the 2LT Panel (fully loaded). I'm comfortable & still can get a speeding ticket .. LOL
Besides my Harley is my Hot Rod.
I don't have any Coca Cola HHR's saved, but how about the Budweiser fleet of HHR's. Course no branding on the sides. But this was from their website a decade ago.
Actually, I'm not sure if mine is an LS or an LT. I bought it for a bargain straight off the showroom floor. Came with all the extras, including a sick set of aftermarket mags and low profile tires. This is a pic of it...
1999.5 Saturn SW2 LL0 v2 (last production of this series) - my standby main car amongst a lot of cars that crapped out along the way. Bought originally in Jan 2001, it's still is the newest car I've ever bought, and likely ever will. It's also probably the easist and simplest under the hood I've ever worked on in my life. Most versatile and utilized car I've ever had. The little 1.9L 124hp in the AT feels a lot more power with DOHC instead of the basic first edition SW1 SOHC LK0, plus the shifting is very intuitive and smooth with less Hp. Better shifting than my Mustang was. It might seem pretty basic and weird to some (especially seeing all the really nice expensive rods pictured here), but I know I can count on it, even with 260k+ miles on all original motor/trans. Still runs like new, and likely going to be around till my final day of driving.
Cool, I liked Saturns. The Mrs back then bought a new 1998 Saturn for a road runner, she was running 100 miles per day.
So she didn't want to rack the miles on her BMW Z-3. That Saturn only needed oil/filter & tires rotated for 80K. Then that job ended, so we sold off her Saturn.
