These we bought for our 8 year old boy, but I won't lie, I enjoy playing the games as much as he does

 

I heard alot of negative things about them. According to a Sony rep, they don't actually play all PS2 games, and your PS2 controllers don't work on the PS3... even though Sony said, officially, that they would.

Besides, I'm not willing to pay $500.00+ to own one.

How did you get it? Did they have it for sale by you?

 

Dumb luck, really. I went to put up product at the Target I service this morning, and there it was.....glowing on the bottom shelf...a host of angels singing.....the electronics guys, who know me, telling me I can't have it (jokingly, of course). There were two of them left at 8:30am, I bought one and the other one sold about 15 minutes later. It's the 60GB one too, I've already been using it on my wireless network to browse the internet too (set chevyhhr.net as home).

I'm still giddy!!

 

you shoulda bought both of em and sold the other one for way more than it costs you........you coulda made a killing on ebay

1. Couldn't afford both, only had a bank card with me.



2. I wouldn't do that anyway, I have friends with kids that really want one. I feel bad enough that I couldn't get the second one for them that I'm carrying mt GM card with me so I can get them one if I see it.



(there were 2 20GB PS3's there today)

 

any racing game, gh2... was thoroughly disappointed by sopranos (5 hours to beat) and by bully (12 hours)
