I am with you!!! I just love street rods, the high end, pieces of art are interesting, but they get into some much money, that most do not really get used, the go right into a trailer, to a show and straight into a trailer!!! What is interesting, when I go Street Rod Nationals, is to check the odemeter of some the High end Rods, the Green coupe I posted, had less than a 100 or 200 miles on the odemeter, don't remeber exactly, some had like 15-50 miles, only. Humm!!!!

Growing up with my dad, a street rod builder (as a hobby), it is hard to describe, but there is a wonderful feeling in traveling in a street rod!! I get chill bumps when I see a Street Rod on the street or highway!! Also always had a smile when in a street rod.

Why have a car you are scared to use it!!

I appreciate the ones that are driven and used.

The Old School, retro look with modern day running gear, would probaly be my pick, although I switch up all the time!!!

Now that we are on the "Rod" topic, I guess my dream car would be along these lines:

A tubbed-out flopper running bottles. That's for me.

Yeah, black would be my color of choice as well. I think I've only seen maybe 2 or 3 on the roads... however, I've seen a sharp, unexplainable spike in 7-Series' lately... do they have a lease deal on them now? haha...
