actually its Howard but my grandfather was Howard and so was my dad so they got Jay from my middle name which is James..I was J since day one but when I got into school they said I had to change the spelling so J became Jay..

Get really tired of everyone mispronouncing my name (Jarrod <Jared>),so I just go by my initial, be first, middle, or last, they all start with the letter "J". (Middle name is James also.)

My mom was incapable of having children, and a couple doctors actually told her she had ovarian cancer, but 'twas me! So she named me Darin, which in Greek means "gift"....
