The driveway currently includes a 1999 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am WS6 that is getting a modest reconditioning to sell for a profit if possible:

The "farm vehicle" and all around bruisermobile that gets chosen for flogging duty:

I'll take that "POS" off of your hands for $500 bucks.

You really don't want it. The electric seat module (1 for each seat) is $1300 and they always go bad. NOt the motors, or switches the stinking modules. The brakes don't use brake fluid it uses mineral oil (sucks). The whole car it stupid. However your offer was low my 50 bucks and I'm considering.

Is that what the big metal can is for on the drivers side of the engine bay? Mineral oil container for brakes?

Yes. Worse that that though is the fact that there is a spare pint bottle in the trunk with it's own holder and special designed place for it to live. How weak is a car that needs to carry around it's own mineral oil for the brakes and other components. Do you know of any american cars that comes from the factory with spare brake fluid. Not even a Pinto had that!

LOL!! Yeah, sadly that was the British answer to leaks and other high maintenance "things". Maybe the spare bottle was their admission to screwing up and requiring mineral oil as the hydraulic medum. What year is your roller?

Leaks, I wish they were only leaks. The Rolls dealer calls the "enviroment spills", normal and acceptable. You refer to it as a roller. Yes, it is, that's a nice way of calling it a breaker. Right on! It's a 1996 with 44k miles. Hard fought miles I might add. And I losing!

PS Don't you have something better to talk about?

Sorry, I just have a fascination for them. I have had the opportunity to sit in one once, and have fantasized over owning one.

While reliability seems to never be a central thought around British vehicles, their styling always seems to catch my eye. I have come very close to owning a couple of Jaguars, but I just barely do not fit due to headroom.
