This is where figure 8 racing started.
I live on Long Island and have enjoyed many figure 8 races. Islip is about 15 miles from me. Too bad the track is no longer there. It's now home to condos. What else is new.

Sad, lucky for me, Ransomville, Merritville Speedway , Humberstone Speedway are dirt tracks still in business.
