Life-long die hard Cardinal fan here, and I agree completely. It's hard to imagine a young man living a dream, playing a game for a living, and making a substantial salary to turn around and throw it all away over a few drinks. And for the parents to sue the bar, the tow truck driver and others that were NOT at fault is insane. It's really a shame things turned out the way they did, but at the end, Han**** was at fault for making a very bad decision, and he was very fortunate he didn't take others with him.

Sorry, I don't read into things as much as some people...I didn't think of that, I just thought it was a funny little poke at the Cardinals fans on here...

Oh, by the way, didn't a major league team just lose their 7th straight game today? I can't recall who that was...

Yup, the cards have lost 7 in a row, yet somehow are still only 4 games out of first behind, who is that again?

That would be the Cubs/Brewers...although the Cubs will be 1/2 game up on Milwaukee if they hold on to win this game tonight...I am just PRAYING the redbirds don't get hot just as the Cubbies come into St. Louis.

I have no love lost for that pitcher either. I can't even remember his name. But, I can tell you drinking was always a common practice for my family while I lived in St Louis. But, the price of beer at the new Busch Stadium will turn you sober in an instant.

Yea, I kind hope the Cubs take control this weekend and win the series over the Cardinals. That would probably give them control of the division or possibly put them in contention for the wild card slot.

The Cardinals are just way too beat up. They need to take the winter off to heal. Yes, they pulled off a miracle last year but it won't happen again. Go Cubs, make the Midwest proud!

Cubs fan here, but what a almost choke fest last night. One out, bottom of ninth, let's give them two home runs

I don't care how ugly the win was, a win's a win! It puts us 1 step closer to the NL Central crown...at least it wasn't a boring ending to the game! They can win every game for the rest of the year in that fashion, I couldn't care less...AS LONG AS WE KEEP WINNING!!!

Agreed I would just like to see them win, and not look like they are minor leagures out there.
