The marriage part I could do without, but there is nothing to compare to having a kid. I was raising my son as a single parent until he died last year at age 16. I never regretted being a parent and would do anything to have him back.

 

Cobra65, i am sorry to hear about your son and I know that had to be a tremendous loss. I will pray for you and I hope some how you can find some comfort in all of this.

 

I was married and now divorced, to a gal who had 2 kids from a prevoius marraige. never had any of our own, the daughter always called me dad and still does. now I have 2 granddaughters, 8 and 10. no regrets, (that goes for the no diaper changing also....)

 

Mine is grown and gone and when he asked his girl, she said yes! (and now I'm living happliy ever after!)
