Worst road sign

Absolutely the worst road sign you can see is FRESH OIL LOOSE GRAVEL. That sign has now shown up on our road, and my car was splattered with tar. Notice I said was . Just got done cleaning all the tar and bugs off. Now it sits in the garage for the rest of the weekend and hope the tar is good by Monday, although with temps around 100 for at least the next week I may be cleaning it again next weekend .

Not just the tar but the loose gravel flying up causing all kinds of tragedy to the paint!!! Good idea leaving Sebastian in the garage for the weekend!!!

I hear your pain Doug. A month or so ago they decided to redo the road by my job and that stuff was everywhere. Worst part about the whole deal is there is only one way in and one way out to get to work too.

Luckily by the time I got off work alot of folks had already driven on the road and smashed alot of it down so I didn't get hit too bad. Just creeped down the road slowly hoping some knucklehead didn't go flying by and cover me with loose rocks.

Like you weren't going to wash/detail it anyway!

Those are scarey signs to see though.

When I was a kid we used to camp all over Southern Missouri. We'd always see the sign "CREEK FORD" which I found very confusing. Why would all the creeks have the same name? Of course, it was summer and there was no water on either side of the road.

By the way, us 5 kids weren't allowed to talk much in the car so I didn't get an answer to my question until many years later.
