BillAndToni.... you are free to write about using excrement on your cleaning towels to achieve that perfect shine on your car if you so desire, please do it in your own thread, not a Supporting Vendors started thread.

I didn't realize that thread about the microfiber towels was actually a thread trying to sell those towels. It seemed to me that it was thread on how "1" let me repeat "1" person thinks a car should be washed.

Actually I thought vendors were supposed to advertise in the vendors thread, or with the pop up ads on the site?

Also, just because that person is in the car wash type business does not mean their methods are the best.

I have been washing cars for over 20 years, and doing it with whatever soap is laying around, water and normal towels and my car always look great. We all have our little secret ways of bringing out that ultimate shine, but not all of us are trying to make money selling that to others.

Is ultramicrofiber the only person who knows how to clean vehicles? It is great that they are a supporting vendor, but it should be kept to that thread, or why even have a supporting vendors thread?

thats nothing compared to VWVortex. been a member there since july 2001, banned 3 times over 15,000 posts etc... now they have it where the fascist mods can put you on restricted status which means 3 posts per 24 hour period, no starting threads, no editing posts, etc... just because of "club"(i use that term loosely) affiliation, my friends and i have been black listed and get threads deleted and locked for no apparent reason while others are allowed to make the same types of posts and threads with no penalty. it sucks but internet forums allow some people to be drunk with power. so i say just mind your p's and q's and you'll have no problems. unfortunately for me, on my VW site, no matter what i do i'm being watched and harrassed, so i've learned to deal with it.
