Well, I wanted to keep my personal feelings out of it, but (as an employee of the General) we do not bow to Communist China. It is just a situation where the people want to buy vehicles, and GM has stepped in to address that. Others that weren't there earlier, it's all boo-hoo and sour grapes. You need to be where the sales are, and this is one area where GM seems to have gotten it right. They do need to manage it for the long haul, but the Chinese are not about to get "all the tech inside the Volt as the price of entry to China". Suggesting that gets my blood boiling. The entertainment value is worth waiting to see how this plays out in 'long haul' terms.
