I'm sure there are more...but that's how many have bothered to take the time to help out. I voted depends on price and would also depend on occasion too.

Heck...we don't get 100 people voting on even Featured HHR of the month...so I'm not surprised the numbers are low here. Some folks just don't express their opinions in places they are asked...but do so everywhere else. go figure.

Good luck on the venture...I hope it works out well for you and your wife.

I don't think I've ever paid for giftwrapping, but my wife has.

She works in a mall and sometimes pays the folks (usually fundraising for charity) at the mall to wrap gifts if she knows she will not have time to do it or she wants to bring my gifts home without me ever even getting a glimpse if them

I know, not trying to be a #$% just wondering. She is just really wondering if this is a viable option to try for a little more money, or if she is going to waste her time setting everything up and then flopping. Just thought I would ask a group of people to see their responses. And for that I say thanks

Have her run a test ad on craigslist.com this should give her a place to start. IMO the best way to start is suggest the customer bring the paper and bows that fit their taste so you cut down on initial investment. Once she gets it off the ground then go wild, like I said the two women I know here do very well.

If you would like some information PM us I talk to these women often and being you’re not in competition I'm sure they wouldn't mind me giving trade secrets.

When I'm in the mall at Christmas time and they have a local charity there wrapping gifts, I'll have them wrap my gifts. They do a good job and I don't have to sneak the gifts in the house and hide them, just put them right under the tree!!
The thing is though, at the mall it's easier for me to have this done, if I had to go somewhere else to have it done, I would probably do it myself
