The "X" in Christmas is from the Greek symbol for "Cristos", or "Christ". The abbreviation "Xmas" actually started with the Christian church. It is an abbreviation and is always pronounced "Christmas" and never "exmass". It was not about removing Christ from Christmas as many assume.

So whether you spell it Xmas or Christmas, It's the same... AND, I hope you all had a happy one!
