I took this picture over the weekend to show how my neighbor ran over my Jeep with his 5th wheel trailer trying to turn around in the cul de sac. But it shows a little bit of the wife's HHR and my Cadillac in the driveway. The good cars have to park outside because of the 72 Bug project in the garage.

Looking over this thread and Tom's 26 T thread reminded me of when the HHR shared the garage with my 34 Ford coupe project.

Nice Bug (and SS!). I've got a long way to go. I bought a complete new interior from carpet to headliner. The headliner is what is killing me. Everyone says it is pretty tough to do. Guess I just need to jump in one day.

Do I spy a Le Manns stripe? Did you do both sides or just one? How long you had that?

If you are speaking of the double stripe on the drivers side, then yes. I have had that on it since I got it USED about 1.5 months ago and they were on the HHR when I got it. Just the one side. I bought it for $10,892 for all tax title and plate fees, and that was with 29,676 miles on it at the time. Now just over 35,000.. And it IS a certified HHR Shadow Edition..

I wonder if the previous owner got the idea here.
