What did you do to make her so angry that she needs time to cool down?

well she cooled off...LOL

and i looked at the overfill did not seem promising. so i opened the line to burp the radiator. guess what i dunt see any coolant!

so i may have a leak? the thermostat sticks in the open position correct? or can it be closed as well? i will replace the thermostat no matter what.

i have never seen anything leak from this car, except that oil leak i had last year. so i tend to feel the thermostat is stuck closed.

as usual you guys are on the money!!! THANK YOU

any other suggestions for this?? it is not a difficult job.i wonder if the store is still open? it is almost 7 here.

Rare occasion it could stick closed, theoretically, anyway. Would cause an overheat condition, not what you're experiencing. They stick open, and cause the P0128.

Like Oldblue said, ACDelco 131-158 is the only thermostat you should be buying, any others cause problems.

I have one in my 2011, 2.4 2LT , it fits and works much better then the junk the PO had in it and the orange Dexcool is much better at warming up to computers expectations then the green stuff , he had in it , he claimed it’s all the same and cheaper. Bollocks! It had P0128
