Hi all, I just joined the group. I checked online and was able to find where the transmission filler is on a normally aspirated HHR. Having an SS version it’s of course, turbo charged and for the life of me I can’t find where the filler is. Do I fill it through the plug on the side of the trans, where are you? Check the level? Thanks for your help in advance.

 

If you’re talking an automatic transmission, the regular HHR and the SS use the same trans. The fill plug is there where you looked it up.
If you have 5 speed, the SS has a different transmission than the regular HHR.

 

Welcome to the site, as FMG states the SS automatic has the 4T45E , filler on the top

 

No dipstick, the fluid level control port is the bolt on the side, If you are talking automatic.
