The dealer did the transmission service at the 50,000 mile mark albeit unecessary except under sever driving conditions. Friday I'm taking the HHR to my local mechanic and have the plugs replaced (57,000 miles) just because my last car had 100,000 pluge but I started having issues at 60K and the plugs were well worn. I changed the air filter at 35K myself along with the cabin filter. I've done most of my oil changes myseld using Mobil1. The easiest car in which to change oil. I have 5K miles on this oil and the DIC says 55%

BROTHER, spark plugs? you have 4 of them under the air intake they deliver spark to the engine and make small explosions by igniting the gas thus pushing the 4 pistons, real easy to replace and not expensive I replaced mine at 40,xxx for the heck of it. but you should have someone help you
