I like to look at the result customers get with each reviewed products, here on amazon there are pictures for the product Chemical Guys Black Light Infusion kit
Amazon Amazon

From Chemical Guys : The proper order of all the steps to a full detail would be: wash, clay, compound, polish, glaze, seal, wax.

Apparently the Black Light is a hybrid glaze. From what I understand it means it is both a glaze product and a sealant all in one. Black wax would be the last step.

The ultimate high gloss polish? Polish Angel High Gloss made in germany :

It seems to work great on red paint. Not so sure on black paint. Sometimes a product is better suit for specific colors.

I like the result customers get with the cheap ceramic coating from Epic Elements. Seems to work well with all colors.

I am using this thread to give a follow up of my situation. I am trying to work with the dark angel wax and it is quite difficult. Much more than with a spray wax. If you work outdoor you need to watch for weather conditions, prep, application and drying time. I did not yet achieve a perfect result but at least I am starting to see what this wax is capable of. It really gives a nice dark smooth shine to the HHR. Sadly each time I had some oily spot left on the HHR. I think after a couple of wash it helps. I wonder if there is a product that can be used in combination with this paste wax to make it easier to use.

So far I tried to get reasonable weather condition, not too sunny and comfortable. I washed the car with a 4x DAWN. I did not have to clay because I already do from time to time. Then I used the prep product CMX. Then I rinsed with water and dried it with micro fiber (Kurkland yellow microfiber towels that I absolutely love). Then I gave it a small polishing work (porter cable polisher, adam's polish and white rupes pad). Re prep it with CMX and re rinsed it with water and dried it. Then I finally waxed it with dark angel. This time I left the wax dried close to one and half hour, and still, after buffing with the micro fiber I get oily texture left on the HHR. It's only evident under light or sun.

Very hard to get everything right with a paste wax. I can tell you that. Much harder than with a spray.

I still , have a step system, wash HHR, micro fire towel the water off, spray Quick detailer , then spray wax.
All products are Maguiar’s .

Works well on my Carbon Flash Metallic 2011

Worked great on my 2007 Imperial Blue Metallic LS. Keep it clean and drive it often!
