Battery jump starter v2.0
I think celblazer and I have the same model. It weighs a TON. It's a Schumacher from wally world. Has the inverter, air compressor, booster, ect. Great device! I actually used it instead of a battery on my HHR.
Don't worry, mine doesn't have an engine. I was toying with keyless entry and seeing how much of the car is functional with no ECM. Quite a bit actually. Now if I could finish all my other projects I'd get to making it an SS already!
Bugo, I know from experience Walmart is great on returns. If you're within 90 days and you can afford it, step up to the large one. You won't be disappointed!
And for my friends up north. While working in Hamilton I ran across my new favorite store "Princess Auto Parts" simply unbeatable prices, even with shipping to the states. I'd think of them as a slightly higher quality than harbor freight, with the selection of a Northern Tool Catalog! I could've spent all day there. Too bad I was on the clock and under the gun.

Pending local store availability, I will be taking the one I have now back and buying this one. I don't like the fact that it probably won't fit in the wayback of my car without lying on its side (I have two package shelves and I use the space between the top floor and the bottom floor as a "trunk" which is safe from prying eyes) and if I am traveling with valuables, they go back there as well.
Thanks for the recommendation. I was afraid that the little one just didn't have the balls to start a dead car, and unfortunately I was right. Another thing I like about the big Schumacher is the fact that it has both 110v alternating current and 12v direct current sockets. This might come in very handy.

I ran my battery down listening to the radio today and I jumped it with the little Schumacher and it started right up. Right after this, a guy was trying to start his car and he got the dreaded clicking sound so I carried the Schumacher to his car and asked him if he needed a jump. I hooked it up and it fired right up. Go figure. I might end up keeping this one. I like its size. It was warmer than the other day when I tried to start the Mustang so that might have helped.
I ended up getting this one, was on sale at Menards for $45.
