Brake Pedal Rubber Cover Pad 22729032

I found the elusive number and the cost varies from $8.00 + or - $4.00.
Black rubber O.E.M made in China or Mexico.
I found one listed on eBay, and a couple of Chevy dealers listed them, with no picture..

I bought 2 of them about a year ago from my local Chevy dealer. Didn't seem to be any hard to get item as I recall. When you do get your replacement pedal cover, don't forget to emerce it in boiling water for about 2minutes, put on a pair of thick gloves and it goes right on with little effort. Once it cools, your ready to go......or stop......

Good tip about heating up the pad. That will save a fair amount of frustration. Good one.

I wish I had thought of that before I tore my finger tips up.

It was tough to find in 2012.
Try all of the online GM stores as well as ebay amazon etc.

I just called and spoke with David in the parts department at a local Chevrolet dealership. He said a nationwide locator search of dealerships for this discontinued part did not turn up a single one, anywhere. :I tried e-Bay---"out of stock." Ditto for an SS intermediate steering shaft 25943354. :-(
I do not need either part urgently but sure would have liked to have found a new one anywhere.
ADD'L INFO: I just called Dorman Products. They do NOT have an aftermarket part for either one.
ADD'L INFO: I left my email address and phone number at https://caraggio.com/productlist/Int...22729032-sps84 to notify me just in case they get a brake pedal pad in.
Heading to local Pick Your Part location later today or tomorrow. They have a wrecked 2010 HHR. Maybe the brake pedal pad is less worn than mine? No harm in taking a look.
