What cars are you used to owning?

My mother in law has a Crown Victoria, big old land barge. Plugs and wires on that was a PITA. If you are used to a similar vehicle just pop the hood and pull the air cleaner off and you will see for yourself how easy it is on ANY OHC in-line style engine.

Truthfully, it's just as easy as removing the plugs, wrenching out the old, (make sure you have the right new) and putting the new ones back in, putting the plugs back on. Yes, could be about a 10 minute job.

As for Donbrew, he was being concise, and clear. Also not one to beat around the bush(too much), so he was just providing you with the answer you wanted as quick and accurately as possible. Do not take it as him being snippy. He's a good guy!

that is what would worry me about waiting 100k: the plug seizing

Nobody ever said "don't inspect the plugs regularly".

Just saw a guy at a dealer use an impact wrench to remove spark plugs and reinstall the usual by hand way.

After thinking about that, I thought why not!! Easier than "fighting" a stuck/frozen plug.

I've seen them trust torque sticks putting plugs in.
