Deal on Oil at Advance Auto

I know we have a lot of people here who change their on oil so I thought I would pass this along. Usually when Advance runs a special, its at all of their stores..not sure if it really is nationwide, but doesn't hurt to call up your local store and check.

They have 5 quarts of Mobil 1 Full Synthetic plus a Mobil 1 Oil Filter for $29.99.

I think they have 5 quarts of regular Penzoil and an Oil Filter for $15.99 as well.

Just a heads up, I know I am going by to grab some of the Mobil later...even though my oil was just changed(they used regular oil) it won't hurt to hang onto it until my next oil change.

The dealer just changed mine and rotated the tires yesterday for 39 bones. Was worth the price I thought.

I did this yesterday, interesting thing is that Mobil doesn't yet make a filter for the SS (not sure about the others). Even if you get a random filter off the shelf that you can't use you still save $5. Other option is get a filter for another vehicle you have.

You are right there are no Mobil filters for the HHR yet. The Mobil filter is valued at $13.99 so he allowed me to pick any other filter I wanted, up to that price and then he just entered a Mobil filter number at the checkout time so it was still the same price $29.99.
