Do U have to use Synthetic Oil in HHR

is the dexos 1 or 2 better for the HHR than full synthetic? since its manufactured for/by GM engines? I do a lot of driving so i switched to full syn Quaker State

Full is better than half don't you think? Both are good, one is cheaper.

Dexos 1 is the oil standard for gasoline engines, Dexos 2 is for diesel engines.

Yes.

And these models will be using 5W20 Dexos1:
2013 Cadillac ATS
2013 Chevrolet Malibu, Spark
equipped with 1.2L or 2.5L 4 Cylinder Engine (RPO LLO or LCV)

GM is really pushing these small engines out there plus turbo-ing them
