fluid evacuators

fluid evacuators

so, i have been checking out fluid evacuators. i think i might buy the Mityvac MV7201 Fluid Evacuator Plus. anyone use one?

I don't know anything about this particular one, but they are handy when you need to remove contaminated brake or power steering fluid (not on the HHR).

No, I have the Mityvac (one man) brake bleeder kit.. Works super..I can also extract other fluids with it as well..

But I would never use it on a motor oil change, to get the best removal of crud & etc, you gotta drain it hot.. Warm is OK.

Always do oil changes on a hot motor.

Chris- I believe I said that: "you gotta drain it hot"..

+ adding a good magnetic drain plug doesn't hurt either..

Here's mine. Pretty strong magnet.. Try that with an auto parts magnetic drain plug..

Thanks man, I have to be careful driving over the manhole covers etc..Or they will come home wit me..
