The 06 I just bought has a noisy front wheel hub. I noticed in posts from a few years ago that several posters on here replaced their hubs. I see them on ebay for $60 a pair from detroit axle and other sources and I see them for over $100 a pair. Im a newbie on HHRs. Can some of you old pros advise me on if its worth it to spend more or are the lower priced ones ok. Thanks in advance for the help

Your 2006 probably won't have #5.

Do the math; how many failed $30 parts can you replace for the price of a $100 part? That is assuming that lower price means "cheaper".

Especially if you compare to Genuine GM price $562 each, last time I looked.

Be prepared for frozen hub to knuckle. A 2.5 lb sledge hammer helps.
