I just stick with ALLDATA, got it for free via torrent, and It's a full service manual for most cars.
The problem with HAYNES is you have to get through all of the generic stuff, like "adjust the brake shoes" with no further elaboration. I hate the HAYNES manuals, I do own a couple, but find them to be not quite "useless", but close to bathroom quality. |
donbrew- I hear ya man.. I think it's a break thru just to get a Haynes for HHR in paperback.. It's a start (I think )...
I do prefer Chiltons. But that may never happen.. Right deal comes along, like A&P did, I will snag a GM set of factory manuals. |
Hey, thanks for the mention.
I was just lucky to find it by searching at eh right time I guess. Glad to have passed it on. Cheers all. Corey. |

I have always liked these for my past vehicles. I wouldnt call it a shop manual but it will get you through most R&R jobs. I wonder if Crappy Tire up here in canada carries it yet, or maybe can order it in.
As of now though.....no I called Lordco, and they said they would bring one in for me on one of their stocking shimpents...that way I don't have to pay the shipping charges for an online order... Still waiting though.....I hope that the rest of you don't deplete the stocks out there....lol |
