headlight bulb alignment

I cant get the bulb to turn enough to make the filament vertical as it should be. These are depo headlights.

Are you sure the o ring gasket from the old bulb isn't stuck to the housing?

Did you recently replace the bulbs ? If so, are you sure that the old sealing gasket came out with the old bulb ? The old gaskets will stick to the headlight housing then you'll have trouble because the new bulbs have their own gaskets. 2 gaskets make it almost impossible to insert the new bulbs.

Rubber gasket had nothing to do with it. I bought some new top of the line sylvania halogens and put them in. Now the lights work good with plenty of high beam illumination. They are canted to one side instead of vertical though so I guess that makes no difference.

If they are not vertical, they are not in properly.
