I normaly use everything Meguiar's on my cars !

But I have found 2 of there products I do NOT like ! One is there wipe on tire stuf much prefer there spray and forget type they make !

The other is there stuf for your dash and plastic . It collects dust and dirt as bad as Armorall IMO anyway .

So what do you guys use on your interior dash and plastic console what have you ?

I really like Meguiar's wax and detailers thou I have not yet tried there synthetic high end wax yet just the detailer .

Anyone here tried the synthetic wax $22.95 unless you can find a sale ? and what do you folks use on your outside black plastic and your interiors ?

I also use Meguiar's car wash soap the stuf makes the paint on my 2000 Galant bead up even when I don't wax it regular like I should .For my windows I use the foam spray on Rain X . Rain X washer fluid not tried any rain X wipers thou .

So fire away what do you folks use and why !

I just tried megs ultimate compound, trying to get rid of 3.5yrs worth of light swirls. The stuff works great! Its well buffered so it wont take too much clear off unless you use a lot and go over the same spot many times. Gets rid of fine swirl and leaves a very nice finish, I didnt even feel the need to polish afterward, although I bet it would help deepen the shine a bit.

I am a strong believer of the Megiures Professional line. I keep two bottles of each on hand all the time. They did stop selling the Hand Polish which has ticked me off.

So since they stopped making it I tried 3M Finesse polish for dark paint and 3M Finess hand glaze. I find it works better on black than the Mequires. I still use the Meqiures on the other cars and for the deeper mars in the paint but the black cars only get the 3M now.

Note Mequires professional line is much better than their normal line that Autozone and Walmart sells. It also comes in quart bottles that last longer. If you keep a good car you need at least on bottle of each grade of abrasivness.

Also Adams make the best spray detailer bar none. It is one of the few that will work in the sun and not streak a black car. It smells like a french whore house but it really works.

You need to polish to seal the sine. Polish make it shiney and the wax seals it in. Use a pure carnuba paste wax with no cleaners to lock it in. Use a detailer and a micro fiber towel for light clean ups after to keep the shine.

I love Meguires Endurance tire shine, seems to last longer doesn't fling off, smells like grape jelly (haven't tasted it yet). I use Meguires wax. One of the reasons is because of the man himself, he lives for cars, I watch his Car Crazy show, and he is certifiably car crazy.
I like turtle wax's ICE products for the interior, first I tried their squeeze gel, which looked like a bukake movie, I'm now using their spray interior detailer, no greasy feel.

For the dash and interior plastics I typically just use Meguires Detailer as it doesn't leave a shine on the plastic, and cleans and cleans-up nicely. Various Meguires waxes and cleaning waxes are used for the paint.

But for the tires, I love Stoner More Shine tire coating - http://www.mslt4tires.com/ - one coat leaves a nice non-glossy satin finish that lasts and lasts, and doesn't attract dust etc.. I'm not a big fan of artifically-shiny tires. Stoner More Shine leaves the tires looking like they just came from the factory.

I use a mix of products. Best of breed and reasonable price are the biggest factors for my choices. As much as I love cars, its tough for me for me to justify the cost of Zaino products for a low dollar daily driver. If it was a show car, or a CTSv or something special like that, then yea, Zaino would be my choice.

I mostly use Meguiars and Mothers products. Meguiars Gold class paste wax, because nobody in my area carries the NXT paste wax. Meguiars Hot Shine gloss tire coating. Mothers claybar kit. Mother's quick detailer for touch ups. Mother Back to Black for the exterior plastic. Turtle Wax White Polishing compound for scuffs. 3M MicroPolish for glazing if needed.
