New Wix Oil Filter
Actually, the K&N filter I used came apart when I tried to remove it from the vehicle upon my next oil change. So, I just started using WIX again after that. Never had a problem with them. AMSOIL backs them and they've never sold me a bogus product.
I'm with you there, but I don't think it is going to happen due to the style of the filter. It isn't a screw on filter and I think that is cause for issue with the EA style filter. That is a lot of R&D for a small percentage of vehicles. So, probably not going to happen. I wasn't happy with the SS' filter style. I prefer canisters, but that is the situation and I'm making the best of it.
