Oil change today

Made the jump to Mobil 1 synthetic today. I here it is a good idea to make the jump before the 50,000 mile mark. I am at 39,000 now so why not. Not sure if I can tell any difference with only 12 miles on the oil change other than the motor seam to run bit smoother but it could just be me. I guess time will tell.

Seems like they always run better when you change the oil. M-1 is like cheap insurance.

When I change oil on my bike I also did my 6hp 1 speed lawn mower! Before the change I had to refuel to finish the yard ! After changing to mobile 1 I could do both side on 1 tank! Got better yardage lol

I use Mobile 1 in my cars and motorcycles. I never noticed much MPG gain! All depends on the foot or wrist :) But my bikes shifted smoother and maybe a tad quieter. On my cars never noticed much change with RPM, BUT IMO Full Synthetic oil is the way to go no matter if you gain mpg or not , the added protection is cheap insurance.

It's that feeling you get when you change your shorts after a shower.....

Even though Dexos is specified for 2011 and above I am using it in both my HHR's.

2011 2.4L
2010 2.4L
