One and a half years, 9900 miles, and still working like new.

Neither the number of miles on the car nor the length of time owned have much bearing on wiper life. Use and the pressence of road debris, bug guts and the like do. One could own a car and theoretically never drive it in the rain (or snow) and thus never use the wipers. So unless the rotted from sun and age, they'd be "like new".

I have heard that the Wiper Blades are only good for 3 months and this is by Car Care Mr Goss. I have my Orginal one still on my HHr and I am going on 50,000 miles and never changes but then again how often do you use yours, I apply RainX on my Glass and hardly ever use my wipers. Good luck with yours, What ever you do do not purchase the Triple Edge Blades they are not good and will not last as long as your Original Blades

The stock blades are Bosch Icon wipers and are available from most auto parts stores, they are awesome. It'll cost ya about 45.00 bucks for new ones but they are obviously weel worth it. Oh ya Almost 2 years and 33,000 in the sun and rain and snow in the winter and stocks still working fine.

Got 94,000 miles (2.5 yrs) from my OEM wipers; worked perfectly until the blade started to tear; live in semi-tropical (hot / wet) climate; have used BOSCH Icons on other vehicles but they do not seem to be an exact OEM replacement for the HHR; purchased another ICON style blade; not satisfied; still looking for the 'exact' replacement without going to the dealer ... any thoughts?
