Passenger assist handle(s)

Was there ever a passenger assist handle (over the door) offered for the HHR and if so, is the mounting holes in place on the 2006?

We all wish for that one brother. I looked into an aftermarket for mine, but I have dash and side curtain airbags and was concerned about where they would end up if ever deployed. Maybe you can fabricate something over the pass door for yours if it doesn't have side curtain airbags.

Thanks Silver, I was hoping for an easy fix,(no such thing). Next time I'm at pull a parts, I'll look for something that may work.

But briefly, I think the decision was made that the roof has NO supporting structure rely on.
