Rear Stone Guard part # (the plastic ones)

Does anybody have the GM part number for the plastic rear stone guards? I've been looking to get a set (since I do not have running boards) and those seem to be better than the clear film (which is currently peeling on mine).

Thanks...

Splash Guards

Front & rear molded set

Black with "HHR" logo

I do not know if you can purchase just the front or just the rear.

Good luck!

No, I'm not talking about splash guards, but the rear fender guards (rather than the clear film). I believe they were putting them on the '07 models, or such I've read.

Thanks...

I think he means the plates on the rear doors from the 06s. I think i remember a post about them, try the search box.

I've tried the search feature, the only part numbers I've found are for the clear vinyl protectors.

The pic below is what I'm looking for...

Thank you very much, yes that is what I'm looking for. I have a friend that works at GM, going to have him check if there is "any" inventory still around.

Also found a set of running boards at a junk yard (sadly it's about 3 hours away though...) that I might also consider (and scrap the stone guard idea). Trying to find info on how to remove them (I've found some data on installing them, but not a lot on removing them) and someone said something about a special tool....?

Thanks again...

The running boards are not hard to take of the donor. Star bit screws hold the brackets on. Make sure you get all of the hardware that goes with them. The rocker panels that are currnetly on your HHR however are a different story. I broke mine when taking them off. I dont remember hearing about too many successful removals without breaking them.
Love the running boards though so wasnt concerned about breaking the old rockers.

I believe there is a "how-to" on this site.
