My girl spilled coffee in my passenger seat...now it looks like shat on my already awful cashmere interior. I can't wait to find a set of black OEM seat covers to swap to, they have to look much cleaner than the cashmere do...at least until I can get a set of custom Clazzio seat covers.

 

i've got the gray interior in my 2006 HHR....use this stuff.....it really works...just do the entire seat cushion...not just a small section........

Hello, I am new here. I have a 2007 LS that I adore.

I tried to spot clean my seats also when I bought it, what a mess!!
However I bought some amazing sheepskin covers from Sheepskinstuff.com for $200 (both front seats) and they are amazing, fits well, deep fur pile, and don't move about on the seat.
I now get compliments on the seats...LOL

 

Tntwolt: I can give you a possible reason, but maybe not so much a great solution. I too have experience the same situation where the more I clean, the worse it sometimes seems to get. An expert automotive detailer friend theorizes that on some cars like the HHR, the problem is coming from seat foam underneath the fabric. He says when we wet the fabric crud on the foam leaches up. If true, it might make sense to use a cleaning process that is as dry as possible so as to not get the seat foam damp. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is a very effective tool for cleaning almost every interior surface. My ultimate solution is to shortly order custom seat covers either in leather, or since my Panel is used for work, the "I Can't Believe It's Not Leather" custom vinyl covers from CalTrends
