Just like to know what size are the sway bar bushings on 2007 lt 2 2.4 motor ? Are they 25mm ? I have the fe 3 suspension..

 

Been discussed many times on this forum about what size/what year.
Best bet is to measure the sway bar itself. Most likely it's the 25mm one. Very few had the other smaller 23mm size..

 

2007 has whatever they had on hand that day. You need to measure, wrap a piece of string around it.

 

The FE 3 had the same sway bar as the FE1 , so 25mm .

For: A SOFT RIDE SUSP(FE1) (2007-2011) (2008 - 2011).
For: A SPORT SUSP(FE3) (2008-2011) (2008 - 2011).
But measure twice and change them once.

 

There was a 2006 mid-year change, but that was for FE1. Your 2007 FE3 should be 25mm. Harbor freight should have cheap calipers for measuring, pretty nice to have around.

Of course a piece of string or wire is free.

 

But with a string, aren't you measuring circumference ?
Thought 25mm was the diameter.

 

Don wants you to remember your high school math class. You know, circumference divided by Pi (3.14) = diameter (or however that equation works)

Me. Can't think back that far. I just measure with my caliper or. Measure using an open end wrench or. Crescent wrench closed on the bar, then measure that gap with a ruler.

 

OR, a 23mm and 25mm crescent wrench.

BTW, some have found that 1 inch is not close enough to 25 mm; get metric.
