Mr. B services Casper using a 1 1/4" socket with extention on a 1/2" drive ratchet on the oil filter cap. 15MM socket on a 3/8" ratchet for oil pan plug and a drip pan.
These tools can be found at most auto parts houses, hardware stores and Sears is our favorite.

As Sindy mentioned, a 1 1/4" socket or a 32mm socket will work to get the oil filter cap off.
You can also get the Lisle 14700 oil filter socket that is made especially for the Ecotec motors to get the oil filter cap off.

If you want to make things even easier for future oil changes, when you take the oil pan plug out, replace it with a Fumoto valve.

Top right on the front of the motor. It's under the black cap.

It uses a cartridge type filter.

You will also need a jack or ramps to raise you car to get to the oil plug.
