What's Your Choice of Motor Oils

You don't have to let the dealership do the oil changes just because you're under warranty. Do your own and just save all the receipts.Simple as that.

Really (another). The dealer is using FACTORY 15-30 DEXOS. That's really interesting.
First....there is no 15-30 Dexos...
Second.......the factory does not use 15-30. Maybe you mis-typed. The factory uses 5-30.

Switched to RP myself. Not sure if oil and coolant temps are related in anyway, but before switching to RP the DIC would give me readings of 211-214 sitting in traffic. Now after switching to RP temps only get up to 180-185.

My temp has never gone over 188 and that includes being in Boise this summer with 110 outside temp.
A few times maybe, up to 25 minute idleing with the air conditioning on while eating lunch in the car and temps over 100.
That was just plain old Chevron Supreme Dexos 5/30 oil.
