Window Switches in driver door

I had the same thing. Some buttons worked, some didn’t. I was able to disassemble the switch assembly and clean the contacts. The driver window express down switch is tricky. Worked like a charm. A new switch assembly would probably last longer, but so far, so good.

Same here. I bought the new switch but decided to try cleaning the old one. Going on 3 years now. Mine had a light black film. I've got the new switch if this one goes south.

My son borrowed my HHR so I will try that cleaning contacts when I get it back. I'll grab a can of contact cleaner Thanks
