WHAT? I love using my wipers! I like when it's raining really hard, and I can make them go really fast. But I don't do that often because I hate when you see other cars with the wipers on fast when it isn't even raining really hard. They look like hyper people.

i dont like putting my wipers on the super fast mode because you can actually feel them rocking the car a little. and that rear wiper is just a pos. i only use it in winter. maybe ill remove it for summer. because it dont do squat for me for dirt. the squirter is terrible. maybe it needs replacing. or i will aim it straight back for those people who get too close.

I tried replacing the rear wiper with a 10" Trico blade from Auto Zone, and obviously that was a FAIL. So I'll try buying a refill and cutting it to size.

They sell an actual replacement for about $11 or so, and it's the entire blade and plastic backing. It just pops right out from the arm, and you snap the new one in... I had to replace mine when I first bought my HHR, and that's what I did.

So you are one of those people who I try very hard to stay away from when driving.

In my experiences... Wiper speed is inversely proportional to driver confidence.

See grandma in her Buick or soccer mom in the minivan with the wipers blazing away as fast as they will go when it is just barely raining? It means they are not very sure of themselves or of their vehicle in "other than sunny" weather. They drive well below the speed of prevailing traffic, may put on their brakes suddenly for no reason at all, and will generally be unsafe and impeding to your progress. Make every effort to pass them... it is an accident waiting to happen.

Now me... I keep a good coat of Rain-X on the front and rear glass, as long as the car is moving I don't really need to use the wipers at all unless it is really coming down.

Can you still find refills? Around here no one seems to carry blade/refills anymore- you have to buy the whole assembly.

Tip for the rear-buy a 22" blade and cut it in half-you get two that way.
I had some 22" refills sitting around from my truck, and did that for the back.

Let's not forget about them "hazard blinkers" either.
