wiring at front hub s is -looking- sorta' shabby

I spent much time using the 'search' trying to find answers about the front hub wires looking their age, to no avail.
I'm NOT experiencing any problems -or- /codes, but the wires outer sheath is not impressive anymore.
Can I 'fix' this(?) -or- am I going to be steered toward -hub- replacement ? If it could be considered good manners to -freshen-up- those wires, I'd be game.
Having been in the motorcycle repair trade for close to twenty years proves me capable, but if this is a losing proposition, I'd prefer to know from someone who's been there.

I had to replace my left front abs harness, turned out it was the hub at fault. You can put new wire loom plastic on the wires .

If a hub/sensor/bearing assembly 'bellies-up' , what brand - source is going to be the best replacements?
At 140k miles, I'd suspect that these might be high on the list of parts that'll need replacing before long?

I'm a Timken guy.
Go to RockAuto, but, do not buy the 'economy' class parts, unless you have too.
AND, it's best if you replace both.

Although the Timken parts are preferable, they are certainly priced accordingly.
Are Timken products recognizable externally? There is a serious wealth of these series of vehicles in boneyards around here.
If a second choice were made, whose might it be? I was wondering about a rear-beam noise when driving a week ago, and when reading about bearing/hub symptoms I'll be investigating this MUCH more closely.
Seeing as I'm finding sensor wire disintegration, and that oft mentioned 140k mile usage, I might see about budgeting hubs all the way around to eliminate -THAT- eventual need before myriad problems rear their ugliness.
From everything I've read, this is a very common problem with these cars.

Timken used to be produced in Canada in St Thomas Ontario, that plant is closed and now they are mad in China . Sad state of affairs.

I understand budgeting constraints, but as my SISU just crossed over 221k, I know that by spending more upfront has saved me in the long run.
So, spend what you can and as Oldblue says
"enjoy the ride"

I used PowerStop hubs , they were a clear out item, I bought 4 at that price point 40.00 CDN , they were ok , but the left sides seemed to give up faster then the right, must be the potholes and train tracks on the way to the hospital, I got 21,000 to 23,000 miles out of the lefts, 30,000 out of the rights. I now have test spare hubs for ABS light or clunks and rattles. That’s how I determined a new set of Mevotech TTX hubs were necessary. I have put the test hubs in the shed.

If you think that is expensive look at the price GM want.
