Description:

I put Bilsteins on my SS today and I have a pair of rear SS shocks.  They are located in West Los Angeles. If someone needs rear shocks but has no money, these are still pretty good, one is a little more worn out than the other but good enough if you're desperate for shocks but have no money. Free if you come get them. 102,000 miles so they've been around,, but they still have some life if you need something like this.  I know, weird offer, but if this fails they get tossed.  I believe these will fit any HHR as I put non SS shocks on my SS and they fit fine.  Sadly, SS P/N no longer available.

Kind of you to offer.

I would find pics of these shocks helpful, particularly clear shots of any readable stickers.

They are the original Sachs shocks off a 2008 SS. I will grab some pictures next time I get to the shop.

Shoulda mentioned, I don’t need them, but have been collecting data “for the good of the order.”

Then I will definitely get you the data, if it's still there.

Thanks! I had a set too, but I gave them to a mechanic who was working on an HHR for a customer with a very low budget.

Yes, thank you again! Very helpful for confirming the info I have so far. By the way, it’s the exact same label that came off of my SS at 90 some thousand miles, except for the long #, which appears to be a serial or lot number. I am now more certain they were OE.

I replaced them with Sachs aftermarket’s that were said to be the same as OEM with a different label. Can’t access the pic right now, but pretty sure there is a pic somewhere in these forums.
