Good times. Made me really excited about owning an HHR for the first time in a while. It was really great to meet everyone and put a face behind the screen names for once. Weather was great, no rain, and the cruise to Creve Coeur park was nice. I only wish I'd been able to wash my car so it'd look all nice like everyone else's!

The valve-cover swap clinic was most fun. Especially when Stubby dropped the wrench deep into the engine compartment.

Just got home. What a great day! Thanks go out to Mike and Bonnie for sharing their home, and for a great day! Kids were asleep before we got to 270 . As we were leaving Breanne says "I like playing with Calab". Both kids had a blast! The valve cover swap was very informative, and a lot of fun, we al least until stubby threw the wrench down behind the engine . Big Kahuna your new valve cover looks sweet Mike, Bob looks amazing. Pictures don't do justice to your paint. Cliff it was great to meet you and congrats on the well deserved trophy . Hope you have a safe trip home. Great HHR's and great people. Wow, 13 HHR's! Very nice turn out. I wish we could have made the trip to the park and Chuck-a-burger, but the kids were anxious to get to grandma's for fireworks. Can't wait for the next G2G.

Not to mention a TON of great folks. The weather held out; no sun, but we didn't have any rain either.

Everyone seemed to have a decent time. The kids were busy the whole day, always a bonus!!

And yeah, Stubby let loose of an open-end wrench while helping with Big Kahuna's valve cover switch. But all's well that end's well.........I got my wrench back!!

Well guys and gals, I missed my brat!! It looked like so much fun! I am happy for all of you, It looks like everyone had a great time. The slideshows were awesome, the cars, food, camaraderie..and so many cute kids! It is really amazing how such an insignificant thing as an automobile can bring so many nice people together where as they would probably never meet otherwise. Great day! Todd (Uma)
