I would like to let everyone know that we are preparing to write a check to send to the Susan G Komen Breast Research Foundation. The check will include the money raised by the additional raffle of the camcorder provided by Deerman (James) and the club half of the 50/50 drawing...We will also have additional donations throughout the remainder of the year.
Thank you all for making this run so much fun and for allowing us to send this donation in honor of TomsHHR's girlfriend, who is currently battling breast cancer and for Z-Man's sister who passed from this dreaded disease...

A suggestion in Branson is the Welk Resort. Lots of parking lots for activities and they handle large groups all the time. That doesn't mean you are obligated to listed to the bubbly music... ha ha!

Lou thanks for the sugestion. I am starting a new binder and will start organizing the suggestions for consideration by the club, so far we have the Dells (a different hotel) and the Welk Resort, Branson, Missouri. I will be glad to listen to all suggestions and we wiil take into consideration other runs, schedules and locations.
Lou, the Welk might not be the best choice as another forum member is planning a run for Branson for '08, but I do appreciate the suggestion and the interest...Pat

Joanne and Tom want to extend our heartful thanks to You (Mid-American HHRs members) and the rest of our friends who attended the Boogie Bash for the donation of the proceeds from the Bash to the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation. As some have heard that Joanne was diagnosed with Breast Cancer this last spring. Joanne was very grateful to be mentioned. She regretted that it was the bad week for her to attend. Joanne has completed her chemo treatments now and will be undergoing a reconstructive surgery later next month and is intending of meeting up with the group as soon as she is comfortable traveling again.
