Stopped by again today and got my name down for the black one. My dealer says I atleast get a test drive We'll see how far I go with it.

 

I stopped by Green in Peoria on sat and drove their black SS. I would never buy it from there though seeing as how I work at Uftrings, but at least I got to drive it. I was very happy with the throttle response, and the interior is sweet, even without the 2 tone or performance seats. The exterior is VERY nice. With about a 1" drop it would look VERY aggressive. I was actually so excited about it I drove directly to Uftrings to get a definite employee price, but after hearing the Brembo's wont be available till mid 08\09, I decided to wait to put in my order.

I would like to drive a 5sp before I order one, but both dealerships told me that they wont be ordering one unless a customer specifically asks for one.

 

so you are saying the brembo's are avail 09 model year, or 08 model year and did you get any pricing on them, everything i read on the brembo package is early 08. Why doesn't GM make all the options available when new models roll out, or at least an aprox release date and include them on the GM build site.

 

From what I understand the Brembo's will not be added until late 08 or early 09. They are included (price may be adjusted) with the LSD option. I didn't even bother looking at pricing, because it wasn't optioned how I would order it anyways. BTW Uftrings in Washington has a Victory red SS inside the showroom. Its VERY nice.

 

My dad got a red SS in at Miles Chevrolet in Decatur. Go and support my college fund, ask for David Scott :)

Crap. I stopped by the dealer today and what do I find in the lot? A nice new black 5-speed SS! What no call, no notification, no nothing?! Well I thing I am going to let it pass anyway. If anyone wants, don't let it slip by.

 

I stopped by my dealer and they had a couple, but they were both autos. Now that I've seen them in person, I don't think I really like how they look. (besides the side skirts, which I hope are available soon)

 

I stopped by and saw my first one yesterday also........and I'd have to agree with you, other than the sideskirts and that coffee can under the hood, I was not impressed. Seats were nothing special and the whole frontend area looked kinda cheap!

 

Stick, what dealership was that?
