I am aware that geographic and atmospheric conditions affect boost levels, but I am not seeing over 18lbs of boost regardless of what I do. When I first got the upgrade I was seeing 22-23 consistantly. What are others in the Chi-Town area getting?

Should the old disconnecting the power and resetting the power be my first attemt to fix this lack of boost?

I don't play with it much but I am still seeing low 20's when I punch it with my automatic.

 

Thats what I figured. I disconnected the power during my whole shift last night at the PD and reconnected it only to still only see the 18lbs max. I guess it is time to check the clamps again, and once my dealer starts taking warranty appts again I will take her in.

I'm almost in the same geo. area. Near Lake Ontario, east of Toronto. I'm on constant 23-24 lbs with the auto.

 

I only spike into the 20s now and then (Southern WI) but my service dealer (Ill Rocken..) checked it out and determined it's the bypass valve. Ordered a new one. Will let the forums know the results when installed. I spiked to 24 PSI this am...before the bypass let it drop to under 20.

 

Were in chicago did you guys get the stage one done to your car i dont no were is the best place to take it at le t me know thnx

 

In your other thread I mentioned Rockenbach Chevrolet in Grays Lake... you'll find they have done dozens of these installs and I haven't heard of any bad experiences.

 

I had mine done at Jennings Chevrolet in Glenview. I was there first, and only one minor problem that was fixed the next day.
